Banana Pudding Cake


Banana pudding cake recipe

1 box-yellow cake mix
1 banana
1 box banana pudding mix
1 cup of sugar 
1 cup of flour- all purpose flour 
1 stick of melted butter- unsalted 
1 teaspoon of vanilla 
1 cup of milk
5 eggs 




Filling andFrosting
1 box instant banana pudding mix
1 cup milk
1 cup cool whip
1 pack of cream cheese



Preheat oven to 350

Add cake mix together with flour sugar and butter the five eggs and milk do not use the oil in the cake mix, you are going to use the butter. You are also going to add a soft banana and mix it in with the cake batter  in two  9- inch cake pans spray well and add flour to the cake pans  to prevent sticking let cool completely once the cake comes out of the oven . I usually bake for 35 to 40 minutes on 350. 

While the cake is baking make the frosting which I call the filling, because you will use it for the inside of the layer as well as covering the cake before you put the wafers on it

Make filling by adding milk and pudding together let sit in fridge for 10 minutes until thicken then add cool whip combining well then add to cake .

Take remaining mix from filling if you have any leftover and you need extra frosting and add 1 pack of  cream cheese ,Cool Whip frosting mix very well then frost your cake and garnish as desire with vanilla wafer cookie.

I used a squirt bottle I got from the dollar store to make the Design on the top

  1. Do you mix the pudding mix with milk and then pour into the cake batter or put the dry mix in the cake batter ?
