3 Bean Chili
INGREDIENTS
1 cans (15 oz) Black Beans
1 can (16 oz) Dark Red Kidney Beans
1 can (16 oz) Pinto Beans
2 lbs lean ground round beef
3 tsp chili powder
1 small yellow onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 can (14.5 oz) tomatoes
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1/2 tsp cumin
2 cans of chili with no beans
DIRECTIONS
Brown ground beef in heavy Dutch oven or soup pot.
Add chili powder and mix well. Add onion and pepper to meat and cook for 2 minutes. Drain off excess grease.
Stir in remaining ingredients also chili with no beans-. Simmer on low heat for 10 to 15 minutes.
Top with a dollop of sour cream. if you want- add cheese
Or even have with hot corn bread or crackers
