SWEET AND SPICY HONEY WINGS






2 lb chicken wing, tips discarded
1 tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste
1 salt, to taste
1 black pepper, to taste
1 cup honey, divided
12 cup butter, melted
12 cup hot sauce

Directions


  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Season chicken wings with cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  3. bake chicken wings until cooked through and juices run clear, about

    1 hour 15 minutes depending on size. Brush wings liberally with 1/2 cup of honey while they are cooking.
  4. Add melted butter, remaining 1/2 cup of honey, and hot sauce to a large bowl and mix to combine. Remove wings from the oven and immediately toss them in the hot honey butter sauce to coat. Serve the wings 'wet' or return them to the oven for 1 minute per side to set the sauce.
  5. if cooking on the grill cook for 30 minutes and follow the same steps

  1. 1 Hour and 15 minutes? For wings? Is that correct? If it is it is I sure dont want NO pink chicken..lol

    1. 1 hour and 15 minutes will never give you pink chicken. if so check your oven.
