Orange Crush Pound Cake


 2 3/4 cups of sugar.
1  Cup Vegetable Shortening.
 1 Stick Butter.
5  Large Eggs.
3  Cups All Purpose Flour Sifted Three Times.
1  Cup Orange Crush Soda.
1  Teaspoon Orange Flavoring.
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract.

 preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then with your  mixer you will want to beat your sugar and shortening together until fluffy. Now you will want to add your eggs one at a time beating them in after you add each egg.
Add the rest of your ingredients and use your  mixer to make sure everything is very well mixed together. Once you have all your ingredients very well mixed together you'll want to grease a pound cake pan very well and then put a tablespoon of all purpose flour in it and shake it around to coat your pan.
You will want to bake your cake for one hour and ten minutes in the center of a preheated 350 degree oven. Let your cake cool for about ten minutes and then turn your cake out onto a cake plate and spread the frosting below on your Orange Pound Cake while it is still warm.

Orange Crush Pound Cake Frosting

8 Ounces Cream Cheese
Cup Powdered Sugar.
Teaspoon Vanilla Flavoring.
Teaspoon Orange Flavoring.
Mix all your frosting ingredients together in a mixing bowl and spread the frosting on your Orange Crush Pound Cake
