Down home banana pudding

.2 boxes of vanilla wafers....
2 bananas....
1 cup sugar...
1tb vanilla flavor...
2 cups of whole milk...
1/4 cup flour..
pinch of salt.....
6 eggs..

The thickness of the pudding should coat the spoon but , not too thick like pudding. It will continue to get thick as you take it off the burner. If it gets too thick to pour between the cookies you can add a tiny bit more milk.

add the vanillla at the end..you never want to cook the vanilla

Get a large pot and add eggs , sugar, flour and milk and mix well..whisk all together on med heat for 6 to 10 minutes....while its cooking put one box of wafers on bottom of a bowl then cut up bananas in small slices and add the other box of wafers and put on top..go back to the pudding mixture and if it is too thick add a little more milk to loosen it and whisk it, now its time to pour it over the wafers...it has to be thin enough to get to the bottom of the bowl. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Or refrigerate for 10 minutes.
