HOT BUTTERED FLUFFY RICE







1 cup of rice
2 cups of water
1 ts of salt
1ts of pepper
2 tb of margarine


Directions
  1. add 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water and Bring to  a rapid boil in a 2-quart saucepan. add salt, pepper and margarine ...let boil for 1 minute and reduce to a simmer
  2. Cover; cook without lifting lid to prevent steam from escaping until rice is done 25 minutes; check toward end of cooking time). ...
  3. Let stand, covered, 5  minutes, then fluff rice with a fork.
